Disgaea

A week ago, my eyes came across a game I have wanted, but never seen.  Disgaea DS.  When I finally had the cash to obtain it, I bought it on the spot.  HOORAY!!!

Disgaea is probably one of the most unique games I've ever seen.  It's a strategy RPG VERY similar to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.  Not the story, the gameplay.  The story is what's so unique.  This Japanese game is about Angels in Demons...but not in the way you might think.   Instead of being mythical and powerful creatures, Angels and Demons are just another race like Humans.  Demons just tend to be more mischievous and crafty, and Angels are more calm and friendly.  They once lived with humans, but then war happened, and blah blah blah they went to separate dimensions.

One of the thing I absolutely love about this game is that you can make your own units!  Not only that, but there isn't a limit to them either!  You can have as much creative fun as you want, and very few limits!  Of course, being myself, I made most of my units after my friends.  Here are the ones I have so far, with descriptions, of course.

Brenn

The sprites are a little fuzzier than I would like, but oh well.  Anyways, Brenn is one of the Ninja, a retired clan of assassins that now act as personal bodyguards.  Unlike the general concept of Ninjas, most of these fighters use their fists in combat, and can counter almost any strike.  Little is known about Brenn's time before being a ninja, besides a few rumors that he may actually not be a demon, but a fallen angel.  He trained in the Frozen Wastelands for two years with Clayton the Scout, and then created a small team of mercenaries that work for pay.  Currently, the band is working on a secret mission from the demon council itself.  

Clayton

Clayton is a professional scout, a class that is excellent with guns, and has the capabilities to turn any location of battle into a favorable one.  Clayton is quite brave and lovable, but sometimes his own ego and bravery get him into trouble.  He met Brenn in the Frozen Wastelands, and trained with him for two years.  He is the second leader of their group of mercenaries, and leads with much courage and vigor.  Hopefully this courage won't lead to his demise...

Katlyn

One of the Ice Mages, and the only female on the team so far.  She was recruited by Clayton, who saw potential in her capabilities.  She is quite energetic, quite positive, and always ready to fight.  Brenn hopes that one day she'll become one of the Great Mages, but it still seems such a long ways off...

Vae Victis

Vae Victis, a Fire Mage very proficient in his work.  Unlike Brenn and the other, Vae Victis has quite a reputation.  There are many rumors about him, some claiming he once went under a different name, some claiming he's the dead overlord, but none really know.  He joined Brenn's team because he said the team had "something" he desired, but he won't reveal just what that is.  Clayton claims that Brenn has actually seen Brenn's face, but when asked about it, Brenn says he never saw anything.  Is it because it really didn't happen, or because Brenn knows something he's afraid to reveal?
