Summary
When we last left the mercenaries, they had just left the Castle, and had begun their journey to Celestia. From the Frozen Wastelands, to the Dark Caves, to the Sea of Gehenna, our heroes have bravely fought, slaying many troublesome monsters along the way. However, at the gate to Celestia, a whole lot of things have happened...during a fight between both Kaitlyn and Vae Victis, they found Brenn impaled with some sort of demon spear. Then the group was suddenly attacked by a hoard of monsters, the likes none of them had ever seen before. They fought bravely, but eventually were overwhelmed. When each of them woke up, they found themselves separated. And thus our warriors continue...

Claud (Ranger)
Claud has once again taken the position of group leader, only with much fewer members this time. He still thinks that Vae Victis was awfully suspicious, but now is keeping his focus on other things, realizing that part of the reason they got ambushed was because of his focus on the dark mage. Not knowing where most of his comrades went, Claud presses forward, sticking to the mission no matter what, and to figure out just what is going on.
Kaitlyn (Knight)
Kaitlyn challenged Vae Vicits to a magic duel, believing that he was a traitor, and needed to be stopped right then and there. It was a long and explosive battle, during which the ambush occurred. Weakened and barely able to stand, she was taken down instantly. Waking up in Celestia, she realized that part of her desire to beat Vae Victis was not just because of his suspicious attitude, but because she was jealous of his amazing magical capabilities. Deciding to focus on what's really important, she became a Knight, and is now skilled in both magic and the sword. She is determined to figure out what the real opponent is, and to end the pain and sorrow for everyone.
Lauren (Cleric)
With the loss of a new friend, Lauren is deeply grieved, and doesn't want to lose anyone else (Note: Remember, Axel and Josh are the ONLY ONES who know that Brenn was reborn, so every one else thinks that Brenn has in a sort, moved on). Now in Celestia, a peaceful land full of love and happiness, Lauren begins to show her true self, and is becoming more confident every day.

Axel (Fenrir)
NOTE: There is actually a change from the previous update. I actually never obtained Axel when I said I did, so he actually didn't appear until now.
Waking up from his morning nap, he was surprised to catch the scent of Brenn. Getting curious, he investigated and found out that his old master had become a Prinny. Now Axel obediently follows Brenn's command, and will do anything he can to unite Brenn with his friends once more.
Brenn (Prinny General)
Reborn as a Prinny, Brenn now vigorously seeks his friends again, secretly knowing just what they are up against. However, being reborn as a Prinny makes Brenn quite suspicious. Prinnies are created when a person has committed a terrible sin, and are thus reborn to repay it. What sin has Brenn committed that has reborn him this way?
Josh (Puck)
Josh is a long time friend of both Axel and Brenn. He is quite the prankster and annoyance, and knows it, using it to his advantage in both arguments and in battle. He now joins Brenn and Axel in their quest, hoping to get a little stronger along the way, and possibly become stronger than the person he loves annoying the most, Brenn's trainee Michaela.
Group in the Human World
Michaela (Bushi)
Michaela has found herself in quite a pickle. Not only is she stuck in the human world with no idea of how to escape, and is without the help of her master, Brenn, but is also stuck with two other girls that seem to be ready to tear each other to pieces. She had decided to take charge, and now leads the group to find out just how to get home. Secretly, she actually is enjoying this whole leadership thing.
Rine (Fighter)
Now in the human world without her cousin, Rine follows the orders of Michaela with little confidence. She has little confidence in her own abilities, despite hiding it well, and is not sure she's ready for what may come. However, she's certainly not going to let Brea aware of that, and continues the rivalry with even more energy than before.
Brea (Centurion)
Brea has been separated from her dear master, and is now officially PISSED. Despite Michaela being the leader, Brea has no intention of listening to her, or being bossed around in any sort of way. Of course, she has also realized the advantages of not having someone to lecture or boss you around, and is determined to beat Rine with all methods possible.

Vae Victis (Prism Skull)
No one, not even the narrator himself knows where Vae Victis is currently. Even the mob of enemies could not find Vae Victis. Where is he, and what are his intentions?
