Summary
Brenn and his companions are now on their way to Celestia, to assassinate Lamington, the ruler of Celestia. While Vae Victis, and his trainee Brea are fine with it, Brenn and Claud have mixed feelings about it all. The group is now onto the Fiery Plains, and are ready to take on just about anything. However, the level of monsters seems almost abnormal. Perhaps there is more at stake on this mission than any of them know...
Brenn - Elite Ninja
After the regroup with their old members, and the addition of his trainees, Rine and Michaela, Brenn agreed to the request for the assassination. However, he is not so sure with the idea, considering the seriousness of the situation, and is wondering if there is something else besides the council itself putting this together. Brenn has been spending the time not fighting meditating or training his pupils. At least, that's what it seems to be...
Michaela-Ronin
Michaela is a long time friend of Brenn's, and is currently under his training. She is quite skilled with the sword, and is a very loyal comrade to Brenn. She is actually an Angel, though how Brenn and her met, no one knows. She hopes to one day outperform Brenn, and although she doesn't know it, Brenn actually hopes that is the case.
Rine-Brawler
Rine is Brenn's second trainee, and his cousin. She is a demon, which is why his possibly being an angel is only a rumor. Using a similar fighting style to Brenn, she has learned just about as much as Michaela has, despite being younger and much newer. She puts much faith in her cousin, and hopes that someday she could be just as strong, if not better than him. Recently, she has noticed that Brenn and Vae Victis seem to act strangely toward each other. She wonders if Brenn knows more about Vae Victis than he lets on...
Vae Victis-Star Mage
Vae Victis agreed to the mission along with Brenn and Claud, and brings his own trainee with him. When they went through the Frozen Wastelands, Vae Victis disappeared. He returned a few weeks later, with new clothes, and magic that he didn't posses before. Even his trainee doesn't know what happened, and Vae Victis is not willing to reveal it either. Just who is this man?
Brea-Warrior
Brea is an axe-wielding warrior and Vae Victis's trainee. She has trained under the masked individual since she was five years old, and continues to do so diligently. She sees Michaela and Rine as rivals, and does her best to outperform them in every way. She loves to fight, and can be quite snappy at times, sometimes even swinging her axe at the rest of the team. Unlike everyone else, she is not suspicious of her master one bit, and is mad that the others do.
Claud-Scout
Claud agreed to the mission as well, bringing two of his comrades with him. He has been taking charge of the whole operation, making Brea quite irritated. Out of all the team, Claud trusts Vae Victis the least, and believes that he will betray them. He always has his eyes on...well...him or her, whatever Vae Victis is. Being Brenn's rival, he continues to make everything a competition, which doesn't bother Brenn one bit.
Kaitlyn-Blue Mage
Even in the short amount of time with the group, her magic has improved significantly. She plans on outperforming Vae Victis, which the masked individual finds almost comical. She is just about as suspicious of Vae Victis as Claud, and wonders just where he got all of his strength from.
Lauren-Cleric
Lauren is one of Claud's friends, and a Cleric. She's actually an angel that came to the demon world by means unknown to even her. She sees Claud as her inspiration, and tries to be as courageous and strong as him, sometimes causing problems.
Axel-Dragon
Axel is the only monster on the team (unless Vae Victis turns out to be one), and does his job diligently. His strength and ability to fly makes him a valuable asset. He has become great friends with Brenn, and most of the team consider Axel to be Brenn's pet. They certainly make a great team together.
